  This review is for anyone considering opening an account of any sort with U.S. Bank. Do not do it! I have had only one teller that was friendly so far and I can say with certainty that it was not because of U.S. Banks training. This bank is not apologetic in any way, even if it is their fault. Not only that but they charge their customers fees upon fees all of which are totally unnecessary. For instance U.S. bank with charge an overdraft fee if your bank is in the negative every week. Compared to banks like Wells Fargo that only do it every month and they stop assessing fees if you tell them to close the account. U.S. bank does not work with you to resolve your financial difficulties and in a recession I find that important. The people on the customer service phone number do not communicate with your local branch. The last problem that I had that really pushed me over the edge was when I had my debit card activated over the phone. With $200 in my account the bank declined my card when I had an important appointment to attend. Trust me when I say that it is safer to stuff your money under your mattress.

  Caution!!!!! DO NOT BANK HERE!!!!! The Branch Manager Josh has no customer service skills and the girls who work there act as branch manager just to tell you they can't help you..the fees they charge are beyond ridiculous compared to Wells Fargo, public service credit union and first bank. Worst experience ever with a bank...don't trust your money or your family's livelihood with these disrespectful people's hands!
